Are you looking for FP7 calls?  – Now at the Participant portal and not on Cordis

The upcoming calls and related documents in FP7 are from now on available at the Participant portal  instead of at the Cordis website .

The calls will as usual be published in the Official Journal (OJ), but more practically you should from now on look for them in the Participant portal.  Cordis is linking to the new location, but the information will be phased out in the coming months, so we should all make it a new habit to look for the calls at the Participant portal instead of at the Cordis.

Personally I liked the structure of “Find a call”  at the Cordis, but hopefully it will work well also at the Participant portal. I mean the idea to collect all the information at one portal is good but it was like that also in Cordis. The novelty is that the calls are now available in the space which also serves for the negotiation and reporting etc. I think many of us have had some problems with the accounts in the participant portal, let’s hope the call section will work fine already from the beginning!

And we are of course all waiting impatiently for the new calls to published later this month indifferently where they are published…:)

Did not know about this new portal, thank you!

The version I liked the most was the first old-school interface at CORDIS when the first FP7 calls were launched; however, I believe that these kind of changes are good as they encourage you to work out brain cells to get used to a new structure 🙂

    Cheers,

    Omer

It was a bit of a surprise in the morning that the calls were moved.. changing since yesterday, but yes it probably helps to keep attentive…:)

And we don’t need an account to check the calls, as they are in the public section – so it should work fine.. There is a section for upcoming calls but so far nothing is there, but I guess it will come..

Exactly; I also wanted to see the upcoming calls, but couldn’t see much… I am especially interested to know when the Environment call will be launched… Any idea? I think last year it was during these times.

The next calls in FP7 for Environment (FP7-ENV-2012-one-stage and FP7-ENV-2012- two-stage) are expected to be published 20th July (2011), so only a few more days until official publication. Have you seen that the EC published the orientation paper in June, it is online

Wow, no, I haven’t! What is that exactly?

Thanks very much for the info on the call date; it seems it is coming out quite soon.

Ah, just got the link to the orientation paper; many thanks! This seems to give already a very good idea on the upcoming Environment call.
